Accelerate Your Healing with ART-EMDR Therapy Intensives

A Therapy Intensive is a fast-track way to dive deeper into therapy and see results sooner. By using methods like Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and EMDR, it allows for deep processing of trauma and emotional blocks in a condensed time frame. Instead of going to therapy once a week for months on end, you can set aside a weekend or a week for focused sessions. It’s a new way to start feeling better faster, without needing weekly appointments.

Many people see Therapy Intensives like a retreat. During this time, you can take a break from work, arrange childcare, or even stay in a hotel. This time is all about you, giving you space to heal, reflect, and reconnect.

Benefits of ART-EMDR Therapy Intensives

Quick Relief: Process trauma and emotional blocks faster with intensive, focused sessions.

Deep Healing: Reach the root of your struggles for lasting change.

No Long-Term Commitment: Experience significant progress without months of weekly sessions.

Personalized Approach: Tailored to your unique needs for the most effective healing.

Frequently Asked Questions About ART-EMDR Intensives

Therapy Intensives are more effective and efficient than normal 50-minute therapy sessions. Typically in a 50-minute session, there are at least 5-10 minutes of “check-in” at the start of the session and usually, 5-10 minutes spent on “closing up” or “checking out” at the end of a session - Leaving only 30-40 minutes for deep therapeutic work. Therapy Intensives are different. A 3-hour Therapy Intensive allows for 2.5 hours of depth work. That’s the equivalent of five 50-minute sessions or more than a month of therapy - in a single day!

How ART and EMDR Can Support Your Path to Healing

ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) both use proven techniques to help your brain heal from trauma, stress, and emotional struggles much faster than traditional talk therapy.

Both therapies involve bilateral stimulation, typically through eye movements, which engage both sides of your brain. This helps you process and reframe distressing memories so they no longer carry the same emotional weight.

Let's start creating the healing and peace you deserve.

I combine the best of both therapies to help you rewire your brain, reduce emotional
pain, and achieve lasting healing in a safe and supportive way.

 ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy)

  • Uses guided imagery and metaphors to process past experiences

  • Focuses on changing the imagery linked to traumatic memories

  • A gentle, guided approach that is client-centered

  • A more condensed protocol, often offering significant relief in just a few sessions

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

  • Targets core beliefs tied to past trauma and difficult life events

  • The therapist takes a more hands-off approach, allowing your brain to lead the process

  • A longer protocol that involves multiple phases to process and heal memories
