Online Therapy Across Illinois & North Carolina
Online Individual Therapy for Anxiety, Trauma, and Personal Growth
If you’ve been feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected from who you are, therapy can help you make sense of it all and start to feel like yourself again.
You’ve Been Carrying So Much for So Long
You’ve been doing your best to hold it all together, showing up for everyone else, keeping the peace, trying to stay in control even when you’re exhausted inside. Maybe you overthink every decision, struggle to say no, or feel like you’ve lost touch with who you really are. Anxiety can make every day feel like you’re running on overdrive, while people-pleasing and perfectionism leave you drained and disconnected.
I see how hard you’re trying, and I know how heavy it can feel. You don’t have to keep pushing through on your own. Therapy can be the place where you finally pause, breathe, and begin to find your way back to yourself.
How Therapy Helps You Heal and Reconnect
Therapy is more than just talking, it’s a space to slow down, feel safe, and start untangling what’s been keeping you stuck. Together, we’ll explore the patterns, beliefs, and experiences that have shaped how you show up in the world, and begin rewriting the story from a place of understanding and self-compassion.
Using approaches like ART, EMDR, and talk therapy, we’ll get to the root of what’s driving your anxiety, people-pleasing, or sense of disconnection. You don’t have to relive every painful memory to heal; these methods help your brain and body release what’s been holding you back so you can finally feel lighter, calmer, and more like yourself again.
What Sessions Look Like
Standard Sessions
60 minutes
These weekly one-on-one sessions give us steady time to explore your concerns, build coping strategies, and start processing trauma and anxiety in a manageable way.
Extended Sessions
90 minutes or longer
When you’re ready to go deeper, extended sessions allow us to use ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy) or EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) without feeling rushed. These longer sessions give us the space to process specific memories or patterns in greater depth, so you can experience meaningful relief more quickly.
What to Expect
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially if you’re used to handling everything on your own. Here’s what the process looks like, step by step, so you know exactly what to expect.
Schedule a Connection Call
It begins with a free 30-minute connection call — a relaxed, no-pressure call where we talk about what’s been going on, what you’re hoping for, and how I can help. It’s a chance to see if working together feels like the right fit.
Build Trust + Set Intentions
In our first few sessions, we’ll move at your pace. We’ll get to know each other, talk through your goals, and create a plan that supports the changes you want to make. This stage is about building safety and creating a foundation for deeper work.
Do the Deeper Work + Create Change
Once we’ve established that foundation, we’ll start exploring the patterns, memories, and emotions that keep you feeling stuck. Through ART, EMDR, and talk therapy, we’ll get to the root of what’s been weighing you down so you can find real relief, build confidence, and begin moving toward the life you want.
