Investment + Therapy Rates
Your Investment in Healing & Growth
Therapy isn’t just “something you do” — it’s a commitment you make to yourself, to your healing, and to the life you long for. When you show up for yourself in this way, you're saying: I matter. My growth matters. My well-being matters.
I hold the time you spend here with deep respect, because transformation often takes intention, courage, and consistency.
Fees & Session Options
I am in network with Aetna and Blue Cross and Blue Shield to help clients use their insurance for standard 60 minute therapy sessions. Please note that Extended Therapy Sessions and Intensives are not covered by insurance.
I value being transparent about the investment, so you always know what to expect:
Standard Therapy Session (60 minutes): $180
Extended Therapy Session (90 minutes): $270
Weekend Sessions: $270 (60 min) / $405 (90 min)
ART/EMDR Intensives: Packages begin at $990
A non-refundable deposit is required for intensives, with the remainder due on the day of your session.
These fees reflect not only the time we spend together in session, but also the preparation, planning, advanced training, and ongoing support that I bring to each client I work with.
Cancellation & Commitment
I choose to be intentional with my time, and I ask for the same from you. Because your appointment is reserved just for you:
Less than 24 hours notice (or no notice) for standard sessions: you’ll be charged $100
Less than 48 hours notice for intensives: you’ll be charged $200
In cases of emergency or unavoidable life events, I’m open to conversation—we can work together to find a solution.
This policy is not about punishment—it’s about honoring mutual commitment to this work.
Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to know what your care will cost ahead of time. Starting January 1, 2022, healthcare providers are required by law to give a Good Faith Estimate to clients who don’t have insurance or who choose not to use it.
This estimate outlines the expected total cost of any non-emergency services. If your final bill is $400 or more higher than your estimate, you have the right to dispute the charge.
Be sure to keep a copy or photo of your Good Faith Estimate for your records.

Using Your Out-of-Network Benefits
For any insurance I do not accept I would be an out-of-network provider. This means you’ll pay me directly for sessions. Afterward, I’ll provide you with a superbill—a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance company. Depending on your plan, you may receive partial reimbursement for your sessions. Many clients also choose to use HSA/FSA funds, which often makes therapy more accessible.
Tips for Making the Most of OON Benefits:
Call your insurance provider before starting. Ask specifically about your out-of-network mental health benefits.
Ask these key questions:
Do I have out-of-network coverage for mental health therapy?
What percentage of the session fee will be reimbursed?
What is my out-of-network deductible, and how much of it has been met?
How many sessions are covered each year?
Keep records. Save your superbills, claims, and any communication with your insurance company in one place.
Know it’s a bonus, not the foundation. Reimbursement is never guaranteed, so I encourage clients to see it as an added benefit rather than the main reason for pursuing therapy.
The goal is for you to feel empowered and informed—not overwhelmed—about your options. I’m happy to walk you through the process so you feel confident using your benefits.
Thinking of Therapy as an Investment, Not an Expense
When you invest in therapy, you're investing in more than an hour—you’re investing in lasting change. Clients often share that what they gain goes far beyond the therapy room:
Greater clarity, confidence, and emotional resilience
Improved relationships, communication, and boundaries
More freedom from old patterns that held them back
A deeper connection to values, purpose, and meaning
The returns of therapy ripple outward into every corner of your life.
